| | Discover the amazing variety of aquatic life to be found in the ponds at Blackleach Country Park. Over the last 3 years. a series of new ponds has been created. Frogs, toads and newts have rapidly colonised the new ponds. Participants in the course will be shown various techniques to detect breeding amphibians. Participants will also be shown how to use F.S.C. booklets to identify invertebrates. The study day is part of an on going project to record how quickly new species colonise take advantage of newly created habitats. |
